Save the date for the fifth annual Elevations Enrichment and Leadership Academy on Monday, Oct. 27 at the Embassy Suites.

The academy is a half-day workshop featuring inspiring speakers and informative sessions to help professional women realize their potential and take their career to the next level.

The focus of this year’s academy is ethics and corporate responsibility.

The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. The program starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Last year’s Elevations event attracted more than 300 attendees.

The event’s keynote speaker will be Karen Bryant of DOW. Bryant is a supply chain director for the company. She is based in Saginaw, Mich.

Other confirmed speakers to date include:

  • Jane Cline, Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC
  • Sally Cline, WV Division of Financial Institutions
  • Betty Ireland, WV Ethics Commission
  • Kimberley Knuckles, CVS Caremark Corporation
  • Terri McCormick, Brickstreet Insurance
  • Cindy McGee,  A&F Financial Advisors

The Elevations Enrichment and Leadership Academy also features an expo where local businesses, products and services are featured.

Early bird registration is $85 for Alliance members and $95 for future members.

The cost for each goes up after Oct. 20 to $95 for Alliance members and $105 for future members.
