The first Women in Technology: A Formula for Success conference has been scheduled for October 18-19 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. The conference is a two-day program designed to inspire and support women working in technology fields, whether in higher education, as a fledgling entrepreneur, or in private industry. It will feature a full slate of inspirational women speakers, informative and useful panel discussions/breakout sessions, and an ample opportunity for quality networking. Presented by TechConnect West Virginia, the conference will highlight women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), encourage women in research, and provide guidance and support to women entrepreneurs.

The conference will feature an opening keynote luncheon address by NASA Astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger, as well as breakout sessions, vendor showcase, panel discussions, and a networking reception.
