For many throughout the state without access to television, radio, newspapers or computers, social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter have been a primary source of vital information during the widespread electrical outage.
The next SUCCESStrategies program, to be held at this Thursday July 12 at noon, will highlight strategies for using new technology tools during a crisis as well as for increasing ROI for ongoing marketing efforts.
Speakers include Delegate Meshea Poore, one of the many public officials who has been keeping constituents up to date on during the storm via social media.
At the program, “What’s App With That?,” a panel of experts will also update attendees on other new media tools, such as blogs, picture and video sharing, as powerful and cost-effective ways to build brand awareness and promote their businesses.
Speakers for the SUCCESStrategies session include:
• Naomi Bays, Chair/CEO for the Arts Council of Kanawha Valley
• Christa Hamra, Director of Sales & Marketing at MotionMasters
• Meshea Poore, attorney and member of the West Virginia House of Delegates
• Mark Wolfe, Owner of Mark Wolfe Design
