The Charleston Area Alliance is proud to announce that Google and friends are coming to town to get your business online! Walk in offline and walk out online with West Virginia Get Your Business Online, a new program from Google. It’s an easy, free, and fast way to get your business online. If you don’t have a website or Google business listing, you’ll find everything you need to get started – web professionals at your side every step of the way.
West Virginia Get Your Business Online events are completely free. Space is limited, so we highly recommend that you pre-register online to reserve your spot.

Google will walk you through the steps required to create and publish a website for your business using Intuit Sitebuilder.
• Set up your free website account
• Register a domain name (your “address” on the web)
• Select a website template and learn how to customize it
• Publish your website

Sign up today for DigiTools: Microsoft Access training.
DigiTools is a partnership between the Charleston Area Alliance and Bridgemont Community and Technical College to offer training on Microsoft and Adobe Software.
The first two-week session will focus on Microsoft Access, a database management system that is used in a variety of job fields.
Part 1 of the class will be held on Wednesday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to noon. at the Charleston Area Alliance offices on 1116 Smith Street.
Part 2 of the class will be held Wednesday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Tools that will be learned during the Microsoft Access class include:
• reviewing basic database concepts
• creating and manage tables
• querying the database
• designing simple forms
• creating and modifying simple report
And much more!
The classes are only open to the first 13 individuals who sign up. The cost is $60 for Alliance members and $90 for future Alliance members.
Future sessions in Adobe software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word will be available for registration in the coming weeks.
