Governor’s Mansion to Host Celebration of Young Leaders

Generation Charleston, the Alliance’s emerging leaders group, is recognizing those who are changing the Kanawha Valley for the better. A Celebration of Young Leaders is scheduled for Jan. 27 at the Governor’s Mansion.

Acting Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin is the featured speaker. The event will honor Generation Charleston’s accomplishments in 2010 as well as provide a sneak preview of its exciting plans for 2011.

“We want to celebrate the difference Generation Charleston has made in the Capital City,” said Ryan White, co-chair in 2011. “At the same time, we want to look to the future and outline our plans for making an even bigger impact.”

A networking reception runs from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., and the program runs from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.

This very special event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
