WVU to Host Reception at Capital Classic
The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics will host a Dean’s Reception at the 2011 Chesapeake Energy Capital Classic on Wednesday, January 19, at the Charleston Civic Center. The casual reception will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Room 207 of the Charleston Civic Center.
“We welcome alumni and friends of our business school as well as members of the state business community to the Dean’s Reception,” said Dr. Jose V. Sartarelli, Dean, WVU College of Business and Economics. “This is another opportunity for the College to reach out in the Charleston region and to the entire state, and the Capital Classic is the perfect platform to do that.”
The day’s activities start with the WVU Alumni Association’s Capital Classic Luncheon at the Charleston Embassy Suites, in which the College of Business and Economics will participate.
“The reception is designed so that people who are in Charleston for any of the activities relating to the Capital Classic may attend,” Sartarelli said. “We hope people will take the opportunity to stop by and see us at the Charleston Civic Center on their way to the women’s and men’s games.”
