One of the most celebrated and popular community events in Charleston, the East End Yard Sale, is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 8.

Every year, attendance to the East End Yard Sale increases, and we predict this year to be the most successful yet. The East End Yard Sale is also the one time each year the East End Community Association and East End Main Street partner.

While you’re browsing the hundreds of Yard Sale booths and houses, be sure to check out the East End Main Street booth located at the Board of Education parking lot facing Quarrier Street. We will continue our tradition of taking donations for freshly shaken LemonAID and selling a beautiful oak fireplace mantle from a now-demolished house on Dixie Street. The mantle is 6 feet tall and in wonderful condition.
