Thank You
“I am one of the many parents working in the tech park. I grew up in this region, and I wouldn’t be able to stay here if we didn’t have this facility. I do want to raise my child here. I’m thankful I can do this work here and not have to move away. I’m appreciative of what the governor and so many others were able to do.”

Sunny Weather Means Great Weather for Construction!
Construction workers with Orders Construction are installing the last major item on the Greenspace Project, the “Reflecting Pool.” The pool will be one of the many focal points of the project.

Below you can see a close up view of the boulder that will be used as a fountain bubbler in the reflecting pool.

Summit Electric, a subcontractor for Orders Construction, is installing the LED lighting under the outer edge of the terrace walls. The lighting will provide a unique evening and night time affect.

Below a masonry crew from Garrett Masonry, Inc. also a subcontractor for Orders Construction have finished placing the cut stone on the terrace and seat walls and has started cutting brick pavers and installing them over concrete and a bed of sand in a section of sidewalk near Leon Sullivan Way. One by one, over 20,600 brick pavers will be laid in various sections of the sidewalks throughout the project.

As seen here, one can easily see things are coming together as areas above the terrace and seat walls are ready for plantings and sections of sidewalk are being finished. Let’s hope the weather stays nice for the contractors.
